Question Hi, I just turned eighteen and received my license. I bought a car and applied for insurance using the same company as my dad's, Lighthouse Insurance. Then told me I have to pay almost $3000 each year. This sounds awful. Is there any insurance provider who can do much less than this? The insurance costs more than the payments on my car for a year! :O
