Hi, my name is Edgar Gutierrez and I'm writing because my friend Camilo Montes needs your help. I want to touch your great heart,and beg you. I wrote to get help from Mary Free Bed Orthotics & Prosthetics but they said that help people living in Michigan and Camilo in New York. I try to help my friend Camilo Montes he is 68 years old, he has a lot health condition, Epilepsy, Diabetics, Anemia, Hypertension, Depression, He is going to Dialysis 3 times a week.

Last year on December 2008 he had a amputation two times in his right leg because due to the diabetes it developed cangrena. He needs a prosthetic to mobilize himself, now he is using a wheelchair to go to his appointments.

He lives with his wife Laura Correa both of them are very poor, he don't work since Sept. 11/2001, He felt in depression and he lost the control on his health and his illness.

His wife, Laura Correa, support him on basic things as rent, utilities, food, some medicine, and care him, she's cleaning 2 apartments 2 times a week, and 1 apartment every 2 weeks in total her income monthly is around $700 dollars, they can't buy this prosthetic.Last week they were to see a place that make the prosthetic,in Brooklyn NY, they gave them a estimate for $2.500.oo dollars this place had the best offer because others are over this amount. They don't have any health insurance.    

Please, please, help this poor people that God will bless your noble action.

-Amputee Coalition of America may be able to help you.

-Your local church organizations.
-Low income families can qualify for disability, welfare and medicaid benefits
