Psychiatry & Psychology--General/Anxiety during exams??


All my life, I have always had this phase of extreme anxiety and feeling stress during exam period and even speeches and assignment.I am unable to think straight and perform to my full potential. It's like my mind goes into survival mode during these periods. Life becomes an extreme challenge. How do I get over this?

Use the anxiety to study thoroughly. Also, use visualization imaging yourself on a sunny beach with crashing waves. Lie down on the beach, look into the clear blue sky, and see a cloud shaped like a huge zero. Stare at the cloud until the anxiety goes away.
