Hello, I am a student developing a research paper on how exercise can affect a person's self esteem. Does an individual become narcissistic upon starting physical fitness? Or does an individual stay content, never reaching that level of being in love with them self? Any information would be helpful in the development of my paper. Thank you.

Pathological narcissism is a reaction to prolonged abuse and trauma in early childhood or early adolescence.
