Question
What does it mean by observational learning and reciprocal determinism?

Answer
Hi Jelaine

We're not supposed to answer assignment questions, but I'll give you some indirect help, because it's more important that you learn how to find answers than it is to just show that you know them.

Turn to the very back of your textbook and look up those terms in the subject index, and turn to the pages indicated. That's a useful research tool.

When you have the definitions, either put them in quotation marks or re-word the answers.

o.l. is also termed "modeling" so you could look that up too. It occurs clearly only in primates (which is another term to look up if you don't know it).

r.d. is usually not covered in a general psych course, so it could have come from a lecture. If it's not in your book, go to the library and ask a staffer if there's a dictionary of philosophy there.

Thanks for asking us, and good luck with your studies.
