Question currently working floral dept in a grocery chain. floating hours at various locations. not getting enough hours to make money needed to pay all bills. what other path should i take to make ends meet? Another job, or continue to work other departments in same store. I don't want to do cashiering,...am i wrong in this decision. Have been told to stick with floral, but the hours just aren't there. Should I stick with floral or is there a second career path i should pick up to make ends meet and keep me happyand what is it?!?!?! I'm tired of being stressed out over finances. What can I do to amend this situation?

I see this as a time of big changes for you. It will be a fun and exciting year for you if you go with the flow instead of resisting change. I also see you as being "lucky" this month as far as finding another position, and that your best option as taking a job offer from a different company. Take the offer that feels the best.
Sorry, I am not getting anything (except "hair" if that means anything to you) regarding what career path you should pick because that is a decision you'll have to make. I recommend making a LONG list of your ideal job including hours, days, responsibilities, what your coworkers are like, what you boss is like, etc., etc., etc. Be creative. Think about your favorite subjects and hobbies and go from there. What makes your heart sing? What are you happiest doing?
