Question I am currently in a situation where I am going to lose my job. I have no friends, I have no life. I have very hard to find another position within the company I work for, but I have gotten nothing but obstacles. I attempt to get feedback, am told that I am doing fine in interviewing but other candidates are being selected. I get stupid answers like the other person was more well rounded when I was the obvious candidate for the job. People who have worked fewer years with the company and come in and do nothing all day have gotten jobs. I feel like I have been banging my head against the wall, not just in the past year, but for several years. I am very depressed. I love working for the company I now work for and had always envisioned retiring from the company. I have three days left with the company. You are a lot better then you know but you have let rejection and failure take over for your life. Your energy, this is what you do not realize you let off is sad, desperate and shows that you do not believe you can do it. When in fact you can. your confidence is shot and you keep thinking others are better then you when they are truly not. It is your own confidence levels stopping you from getting ahead and finding the life you wanted. I know you had a lot of heartache and loss in your life and I want you to know it can be fixed if you could improve your confidence.
