Psychology/Brain damage

What possibilities exist for reversing brain-damage? Thanks! I have suffered appalling, long-term stress for several decades. I have read that long-term stress causes brain-damage and am looking for ways to sort this out. I seem to have issues with concentration, attention-span, and alertness levels.

You need to do some research on what is called cognitive rehabilitation.  There are a number of exercises that can be done to strengthen your concentration, etc.  There are also a number of supports that you can use to help with this - phone alarms, taking breaks, etc.
