Is there any evidence that power stations working by means of heavy fuel oil cause cancers?

Answer
I'm not aware of any.  I believe some constituents of crude oil are known carcinogens.  Certainly, burning oil can pose a health hazard but this would only be due to burning oil, not to generating electricity.  Information may be available from the World Health Organization.
