Public Health/Low Blood Pressure

Question
Good afternoon!

My wife is 26 years old. She usually has low blood pressure 60/100. Only once I have seen it 70/110. Her weight is 43 kg and height is 5 feet 3 inches. Doctors say her blood pressure used to be low and hence show no concern.

Is it normal? Does she need any treatment? Can it affect her health in future? Any concern regarding her pregnancy(as we are planning for a baby)?

Answer
My opinion:
60/100 is within normal limits.  It isn't low.  But pressure isn't really useful without rate.  If values below this are usual, maybe there's reason to find out why.

No plan for pregnancy is complete without a checkup.  This applies to both of you.

Best Wishes!
-John
