Answer
Dear Amram,

One of the best places for you to get specific information on writing magazine articles is Writer's market 2008.

Specific guidelines requested by the editors of several magazines are listed - and you want to submit based on the editor's requirements.

For future reference, I usually only answer one question per response. The reality is that each of the questions below deserve longer answers, but there just isn't enough time in the day.

1) What is the correct format in writing an article?

Depends on the editor at a magazine. Most word processors can be set for APA writing style or you can get a copy of Chicago manual of Style.

2) will you tell me the exact distance between the first and second line?

That is preset by your computer. Simply pick double-space.

3) about the paragraph - how many spaces between the first and the second paragraph?

I normally put one space (double-space).

4) still about the paragraph - How many spaces are needed to indent the first line?

If your word processor is set to APA style, all you have to do is hit the "Tab" key at the beginning of each paragraph and it will indent automatically.

5) tell me what is the correct margin?

8.5" X 11" (Letter-size) paper should have a one-inch margin on all sides.

6) Give me an advice on how to make an article.

Zippy Headline (excite your readers with benefits)
Tell them what you are going to tell them. (Introduction)
Tell them. (Information: who, what, when, where, why, how, how much?)
Tell them what you told them. (Summary)
Bio block (author info, where to get more info)

7) Inform me also on how to prepare an article that will have a chance of being published and paid?

People and editors only read articles that answer the question: "What's in this for me?" Pick an exciting topic, develop useful information, present it in an interesting fashion.

8) What will i do inorder that i can sell my articles to a magazine?

Follow the specific guidelines listed by the editor in Writer's Market.

9) Give me relevant advice concerning article writing.

Check Google "Hot Trends" for ideas about what people are currently interested.

Read back issues of the magazine you want to write for to get an idea of the style and to make sure you are not writing previously published material.

Start with small local and regional magazines and newspapers, then expand to larger magazines as your talent progresses.

10) How will i improve my writing inorder for me to become a world class writer like you? (Send money or salad ingredients; don't BS someone who gets paid to lie for fun and profit!)

Don't make excuses. Write 250-500 words a day on anything.
