Getting Published or E-published/citing references

Hello and thank you for taking my question. I am trying to write an article for Wikipedia and am getting a lot of my information from experts on this site. I would like to know how to cite them as references: what information I need to know about them and what format to put it in. Thank you very much for your help.... maybe you could give me a fictional example as well.

My understanding is that the questions asked and answers given here are copyrighted to AllExperts. They may not be referenced or used without both the permission of the individual giving the advice and AllExperts. Please see their Terms of Use:

"The materials used and displayed on the Service and the Sites, including but not limited to text, software, photographs, graphics, illustrations and artwork, video, music and sound, and names, logos, trademarks and service marks, are the property of,, or its affiliates or licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Any such content may be displayed solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to modify, reproduce, retransmit, distribute, disseminate, sell, publish, broadcast or circulate any such material without the written permission of or the appropriate affiliate."

I think reproducing/circulating it on Wikipedia would violate this clause. You should check with an intellectual property attorney about any use of the answers here before you create your article.

Good luck
