I am surprised that you are living in Florida and you want to come to Puerto Rico. Statistics shows that puertoricans are moving from PR to Florida.  There are nearly 300,000 puertoricans in Central Florida.  You have to be realistic, Puerto Rico's economy is almost shutdown, while US economic is moving slowly ours is stuck due to politics and poor management.  Jobs are limited and the pay here is not as good as in Florida.  To give you an idea, a teacher in PR gets $1750 a month while in Florida you can double your salary or more depending on years of experience and education. Teachers in PR do not have pay increases since 8 yrs. ago, Florida teachers received pay increases every yr.  Utilities are very expensive, everything is expensive. You have to be really sure about coming here.  The metro area is good to keep a job but too crowded and a lot of shootings.
