Question
Hi,I have found condos available in condado, isla verde, loiza and luquillo.  Which location would be best with an 11 yr old boy, and 12 yr old girl?  We like local cuisine and pretty views.
Thanks,
Dawn

Answer
Hola, Dawn.
Are you moving to Puerto Rico or are you coming for vacations?  If you are coming for vacations, how long are you staying?
I will assume that you are coming for at least a week on vacations.  If you like to stay in the metropolitan area of San Juan, Condado and Isla Verde would be great options.  You can enjoy the beach, you can walk to different places without needing to drive a car, you are close to the Old San Juan area for a one-day visit.
If you are looking for a quieter place and you don't mind driving, Luquillo and the East area could also be a good option.  My clients who stay in Luquillo plan their days for the beach,  for El Yunque, and they also spend some days in the metropolitan area.  An important consideration is that they get better rental prices in the East, but you should also consider the price of gas, the distance, the driving, etc.
Don't worry about pretty views - we enjoy that every day.  If you can, get a rental property with a view to the ocean.  Plan your visit according to what you like to do when you are on vacations.  Get a good deal if you are going to rent a car.
And, if you think I could help you more, I'm just a question away at AllExperts.com.
Enjoy your vacations.
Saludos desde Puerto Rico, :)
Nancy
