Question In New York State if I want to know the Value of a property I wish to purchase I can research records at the Tax Assessors office for free.
Who does one speak to in Puerto Rico. In particular interested in a property value in Humacao.
Thank you,
Answer Hola, Florence.
As far as I know, there is not a similar free service to which I can refer you to in Puerto Rico. :(
For the kind of information you need, my suggestion is that you contact any of the providers of comparable sales data in Puerto Rico. The following are two recognized ones:
Luis Abreu & Associates
Tel 787.765-3243
Fax 787.274.0986
http://www.luisabreu.com/index.html
HouseNet, Inc.
Tel 787.767.8937
http://www.housenet.net/
You can also check current selling prices of properties similar to yours in the following link:
http://www.clasificadosonline.com/
Finally, if you have a realtor assisting you in the transaction, he/she is also your best source of information and guidance.
Buena suerte.
Saludos desde Puerto Rico,
Nancy
