Question Hello, I live in the U.S. but my mother who lives with me wants to be buried in Ponce. She is in her 70's and although I hate to think about these things, I don't want to be unprepared when she dies. She has no life insurance and I have no one to go to for guidance with funeral arrangements and expenses in Ponce. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Answer Maria,
Fortunately you appear to be planning far ahead of time. There is no central place that I know of that will help you out. I suggest talking to any family members in Puerto Rico, or Ponce if you have any. Also, simply calling a few different places will probably be easy for you to do from afar. Check www.superpagespr.com to find potential funeral homes and cemetaries.
