Puerto Rico/After a car accident

Question
I was involved in a car accident with a driver who has the public car insurance policy.  The accident was due to the fault of the other driver.  What do I do now?

Answer
Peter,

All the information you need is at:

http://www.acaa.gobierno.pr/proceso/index.php

Unfortunately the page appears to only be in Spanish, so if you don't read Spanish you would need someone's help.  You can also call them at 787-759-8989.

Just from glancing at the page it looks like you can file an initial claim online.  I also read that you need to begin the process within 15 days of your accident.

Hope this helps,

Jared
