Question i'm looking to go to grenada from guadeloupe. i just read about small planes. could you compare and contrast then tell me where i could get more information
Answer Terry,
I'm not sure exactly what you want me to compare and contrast. If you are asking about small planes compared to large planes, then here's a quick answer.
Smaller planes are generally propeller driven, and here in the Caribbean are anywhere from 6 seats and 60 seats for commercial flights. The largest small-plane fleet is run by American Eagle (an affiliate of American Airlines). Other airlines are Cape Air (www.flycapeair.com) and Liat (www.liatairline.com).
San Juan, Puerto Rico is generally the hub for the Eastern part of the Caribbean for commercial flights. It may be difficult for you to fly directly from Grenada to Guadeloupe. I would suggest checking with the tourism bureau of either island to ask about flights. For Grenada, use www.grenadagrenadines.com and for Guadeloupe try www.antilles-info-tourisme.com/guadeloupe/
