Puerto Rico - transportation: Airport to Cruise Ship Port

Expert: Jared Romey - 7/26/2009

Question
can you recommend a hired car service--limousine service for transportation from the Luis Munoz Marin Airport to the Royal Caribbean dock at the Port of San Juan?
I'm traveling during the Christmas holiays.
thanks!

Answer
Madeleine,

I've never used a limo/car service here in Puerto Rico, so all I did was a Google search and came up with the following as the first three options:

www.limopr.com
www.limo4pr.com
www.mtslimos.com

Here's another list of companies:

In my opinion, unless you really specifically want a limo, or have some kind of special need (wheel chair accessible, transport a group of people, VIP treatment, etc.) just taking a taxi once you arrive is easy.  The ride from the airport to the cruise ships is only 10-15 minutes, and should cost about $20 (varies on # of passengers, # of bags, etc.).

Good luck,
