Question my pug is been having a rash & little bumps under her belly, armpits & both sides of her body with a horrible bad odor coming out from her stomach (1 day after taking a bath). she has been treated with prednisone, antiobiotics & med. shampoos to no avail (did't help). now in the past few wks. her hair started to fall out. i don't know how to help her. the vet wants about $400.00+ to do an allergy test which i can't afford that @ this time. can you give me some advise. thank you.
Answer I am sorry but there are so many variables. What kind of shampoo did you use, what type of food, do you use flea & tick preventative? Did you do anything different just before this happened?
If you are using pred, antibiotics, medicated shampoo other then a betadine scrub to bathe her, I really don't have any ideas for you. I am so sorry.
Allergy testing is not always a definitive answer either. Bless her heart, I wish I had some ideas for you. Have you tried bathing her with baking soda to soothe her skin.
