Question I have 2 pugs the male pug is potty train. My female pug is not. I have tried a tone of thing.I have tried to use potty pads. She still pottys in the house. I took them up now she is going all over the house. When she goes outside I give her a lot of praise and little treats. I want to know how can she stop potty all over the house and just go outside.
Answer Have you had her checked over by a vet for infections?
You may need to crate train her. I would keep her in a crate when you are not home to watch her.
I would take her out every hour to a spot where she can smell potty. Give her tons of praise and a small treat when she does the correct thing.
You also may need to have a leash on her which you are attached to at all times. That way when she miss behaves, you can snap the leash and get her outside immediately.
