Question
I'm thinking about getting a pug, I already have a laid back 4 year old cocker spaniel. She is also very small for her age as she was the runt and can be nervous around new dogs. Is this a good idea or do you think i should look at other breeds?

Answer
That is hard to say. Pugs usually get along well with pretty much everyone. I probably would not get a puppy but would get an adult rescue pug that the foster home feels that pug would get along with your cocker. I would also take your cocker with you to meet the new pet.

Thanks and good luck.
