About Dan Dellacecca Expertise Can answer questions about band careers, gear, lyrics.
Cannot answer questions about band personal lives.
Very well versed in American pop-punk, but know plenty about early punk and hardcore bands.
Experience American Pop-punk circa 1986 and beyond, some early thrash, some early hardcore.
Question I have absolutely exhausted all of my resources (And that's saying something - I'm a radio DJ) trying to find the name of a band that I once heard play a cover of the Sex Pistol's "Anarchy in the UK".
It was an alt pop group, possibly a duo, with at least one female singing vocals.
I've done a ton of digging and only ever found folks like Megadeath listed as having covered the song.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jennifer
Answer After scouring a few of MY resources, I've got the following list of groups who have covered it:
The Duke of Uke (novelty/comedy band)
Blanks 77 (pop-punk band)
Frazier Chorus (English pop group, probably what you're lookin for"
Dealership (power pop band, also possibly what you want)
And, of course, Megadeth
