I have just picked up a record by a group called THE XTREME.  The record is relaeased on Xtreme records.  A side The Tramp (Peverell, Cowan), B Side The latest craze (for Allison) (P.Cowan).  The cat number is IS/X/1045.  Recorded at Impulse, Newcastle, England.  Great guitar sound
Is there ANY info anywhere on this group?  Have googled with no joy.

Sorry for the delay, my monitor is out of service, so this is via a proxy 'puter.  Also no luck on my end regarding The Xtreme; would suggest the next step might be trying to get a phone number for Impulse over in Merrie Old, or seeing if there's a local Newcastle music 'zine that might hook you up with the studio, who in turn might connect you with the lads.  Also try Myspace/Facebook etc. friends of friends who may have some Newcastle connections....or the pop music critic at the local paper...If they put out a record, they're trying to be heard, so sooner or later something will come up.  Sorry I couldn't help more...cheers,
