Question I have just picked up a record by a group called THE XTREME. The record is relaeased on Xtreme records. A side The Tramp (Peverell, Cowan), B Side The latest craze (for Allison) (P.Cowan). The cat number is IS/X/1045. Recorded at Impulse, Newcastle, England. Great guitar sound
Is there ANY info anywhere on this group? Have googled with no joy.
Answer Hey, Rich;
Sorry for the delay, my monitor is out of service, so this is via a proxy 'puter. Also no luck on my end regarding The Xtreme; would suggest the next step might be trying to get a phone number for Impulse over in Merrie Old, or seeing if there's a local Newcastle music 'zine that might hook you up with the studio, who in turn might connect you with the lads. Also try Myspace/Facebook etc. friends of friends who may have some Newcastle connections....or the pop music critic at the local paper...If they put out a record, they're trying to be heard, so sooner or later something will come up. Sorry I couldn't help more...cheers,
