It depends on whom you're speaking of....the answer is between 3.28 seconds and never. For a more detailed answer, you'd need to define 'your' (13 year old from Omaha, or Samoan grandmother), 'effect', and 'thought patterns'. I'll assume we understand what 'punk rock' means.
