Question
Ok. So, back in '89 I was in Europe flipping through some channels when I came across a hardcore punk band that was playing live. Unfortunately, when their song was over there was no specification as to who the band was.  The description of what the band looked like was this:

A male singer with a short & thick mohawk ( I believe, green in color.) Rough voice--singing lyrics such as "la la or ra ra ra, you're gonna burn in hell." very vague.  The singer had ripped jeans...combat boots, earings.  I doubt it was bands such as the Exploited, GBH, Discharge, or even One Way System. The band was going nuts on stage.  If you can please help me in finding this band it would be much appreciated or even if you can refer me somewhere....it's been a 20 year search for me and nothing!  Even if you can't find them, let me know. Thanks in advance!

Answer
Bob;

I'm sorry, there just isn't enough information to go on.  The possibilities may not be endless, but the list is surely too long to explore without more detail. Did they seem like an American band?  Were they playing in Europe, or was it broadcast from or  filmed in America? How many people in the band?  What instruments?

My interest/area of expertise ends in the early 80's, so I may not be the best source anyway. Perhaps with more info another expert would get you closer to the answer.

I know what it's like to have a memory of something like that for a long time.  I recently tracked down a bootleg I hadn't heard since 1977!

Best of Luck;
