Question Could you tell me what ever became of the members of "Whipping Boy", I think they were from Sacramento? (1981-84)Are they still around? Also one of my all time favorites was "Rebel Truth" from Sacramento (1981-82). Who was the lead singer and where is he now?
Answer Whew,
That's a blast from the past. You are correct: "Whipping Boy" was indeed from the Bay area, (though for some reason I had San Francisco down as their home base). I don't remember "Whipping Boy" venturing down the west coast much They did get some notoriety because there were not very many ounk bands with Members of color.. "Rebel Truth" faded away into obscurity pretty quickly. I checked my sources and nobody I know seems to be in touch with any of the members of these bands.
