I am so sorry if this is not one of your specialities, but it seemed like you were the best person for this question. I am looking for the band that sings this song. I downloaded it off of IMESH. According to the download, the name of the song is "One Last Kiss" and it is by The Get Up Kids. However, I don't see the song in any of their albums and in a way it really doesn't sound like them.
Can you help? These are the lyrics which aren't all correct because he is yelling most of the time. Thanks.
Down and lost again, (intensions) thru the door.
Eyes now ( ) so red, swollen never more.
Things are (fading) fast, but you I wouldn't (fix).
I said I'm lost again, but then you would of stayed - you would have stayed.
Don't throw your hands so fast cause all your dreams might slip away, just like me.
I know I said too much ( ) on my knees.
Its on and on again, nothing new to say.
Take your final stand, maybe should of stayed.
Said I'm lost again, then you would have stayed - you would have stayed.
Don't turn your head so fast cause all your dreams might slip away, just like me.
And when I look in your eyes its not what I want to see, but its all I have.
And I want to say I'm sorry, but ( )
One last kiss, just give me one last kiss.
Answer hey sandra,
don't apologise, this does actually fall within my category and you are definitely not the first person to ask me about song lyrics.
This is definitely not a Get up kids song, the vocals and instrumentation are entirely different. so, now that's out of the way, i tried to figure out who the band actually were, but no luck.
If you would like to find out, i suggest searching the lyrics in lyric search engines. sorry i couldn't help you anymore.
If you are interested, i interviewed Rob Pope the bassist for the Get up kids on this website, www.spleenzeen.com head over to the 'international artists' section in the interviews.
