Question What happened to punk, I just cant find any recent or close to recent punk bands that didnt suck! any suggestions on bands to start listening to.
Answer So, Robbie, it depends on your definition of punk, but you want to check out The Ex, (from Holland, and one of the best bands out there), The Fall, who are still amazing, The Mekons, who can be so great (Check out their 'Punk Rock' album, which is re-recorded versions of some (much) older songs. All of these bands began in the late seventies, and are as punk as fuck. Especially The Ex. If they don't rock your boat, (and read up on their history), write me back, and try to explain why they aren't what you're looking for. We'll try for the next level of bands...
