Puzzle Solving - alphabet pattern

Expert: Surajit Basu - 3/28/2008

Question
My son has written down the alphabet in a certain way and asked me to find the
pattern. I can't!!  The letters are on two sides of a line, in a row and in order
across the line. On one side: A      EF  HI  KLMN           T  VWXYZ.
On the other side:                      BCD  G    J          OPQRS U
What is this pattern??

Answer
you should not ask this .. as the solution and the expert is there with you :-)

ask him to join all experts, so he can reply ...

seriously, one has to think differently....

step back, look and think...

it's quite straight-forward...

i suspect it is that the ones on top are drawn differently...

as it said it's straight forward, nothing convoluted

the ones on top are drawn using straight lines
the ones at the bottom are drawn using curves.

now you can pretend u are an expert to yr son!
