I don't know the answer but I know the next number is not 2.
Answer i think it is 6.
lets try the different numbers with different bases
110 in base 2 = 6
20 in base 3 = 6
12 in base 4 =6
11 in base 5 =6
10 in base 6 =6
thus the numbers are the same, the base is different.
the next number should be 6 in base 7
