Question
I was a special ed teacher in corrections where  i made up a teaching program for the terminally ill inmates. prior to that i worked in social service i have bucked so many  systems to try and instill fairness now i want to become a quaker can you give suggestions.

Answer
ellen, Thank you for your question.

I think the best way to start is to attend a local meeting for worship in your area. Talk with folks after the meeting and you will probably find that they understand your condition and will welcome you.

I hope this brief answer has helped. Please feel free to submit followup questions, if needed.
