Question
Hi Mehdi,

I have a quark file that I am trying to export as a simple pdf and I get a "to save a layout as a PDF file, a postscript printer must be setup to print to a file" error.

As far as I can see I already have a pdf printer setup on the pc, and that printer is postscript enabled. What am I doing wrong? I am making PDFs of this file in Photoshop but it takes longer and I need to save time at work.

Thank you,
Marcia

Answer
i would recommend that you use adobe indesign. it is easier and self explanatory. but if you need to use quark just print the file to a printer and choose a ppd and then use print setting  to make a pdf or postscript then use distiller to make the pdf.
i hope this helps
thank you Mehdi
