Question Hi Quinn,
I'd like to know the title from a recent movie about a storm. A large cold low(or high) pressure would come in from the North and a large warm low(or high) pressure would come in from the south. They would collide around the great lakes and a super storm would emerge there.
A family (Father, Mother, daughter and a young son)The father is the director for one of the electricity providers. (He also had an affair with a PR woman in the parent company, which made his wife angry.)
This electricity company has a problem with the new software that's installed.
It will make it easier to control, but it'll make it easier to attack with viruses. Their parent company uses this software to cut corners and to save money by having less people working the system. One person who's installing the system has doubts about the strength of the system and wants to tell it to someone to prevent a disaster. (In the end he hacks the system by himself to prove his point.)
A lady journalist gets a hold about this story and tries to make it known, the only problem is that the editor doesn't want to take on the big company and stops it from getting broadcast.
The sister of the journalist is pregnant and gets stuck in an elevator with an older lady who makes art and has a daughter in England. Her husband flies a stormchaser plane and collects data for the weather institute. (In the end he will fly the plane through the storm to get into the eye of the storm so he can pick up his pregnant wife and the daughter who was shot.)
The daughter broke up with her boyfriend and he went and did something stupid he pulls a gun in the bank where the daughter and the mother are. The guard jumps him and the pistol goes off and the daughter gets the shot in her shoulder. ( in the end the ex-boyfriend dies in the mall by glass and a heavy falling beam.)
Just before the storms hits, the hacker hacks the electricity net and all the power went out,now the weather institute can't issue a warning that a storm comes.

"A hurricane heading North from the Gulf of Mexico meets a tornado over Chicago. The new superstorm wreaks havoc."
