Questions about Movies/90's Robot Flick

Question
Hi,

I remember seeing a movie in the 90's about a post apocalyptic earth. Robots and humans are battling. In the beginning there is a scene on the desert where a
couple of humans are killed by some sort of robot with saws that tunnels under the sand. The movie follows a
group of humans that are trying to escape the planet (i think that's what they are attempting). At the end of the movie we find out one of the main male characters is actually a robot and he turns on the others. This character has been accusing the others of being robots throughout the movie.  Then it turns out that the female lead is one as well but she has fallen in love with the main human and saves him. The very end shows a ship leaving and
i believe a teddy bear is shown as a robot. I have been searching for this for a really, really long time, so I would really appreciate the help!!!!
Thanks,
Tim

Answer
Hi Tim,

This is a hard one. The closest I could find is something called "Creation of the Humanoids". Have a look at this link and let me know.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0055872/

Otherwise, I found this great site listing many many similar movies:

Have a browse through this lot and see how you go.

Dont hesitate to get back to me if need be.

Cheers
Deb

I can answer most questions on TV and movies from the USA and Australia, from the old Hollywood days of the 40's to now. If I dont know the show, I will do my utmost to search for the answer. The more information you can give the better eg: if it was about a boy and his dog, even the breed of dog would help. I will endeavour to answer as soon as possible after receiving your question but, please know, Im in Australia, so you may be asking while Im snoring.

I was educated by constant watching and, if you google australia for the name Bill Collins, the aussie guru of film, well I always thought I must be a relative of his, but mum says no.
