Question I think this movie is about 15 - 20 years old. I think it was made for HBO, Cinemax, or one of the cable channels.
The movie revolves around the life of a young girl who is shipwrecked on the coast of Australia in the late 1800's or early 1900's. She is raised by a local family and is eventually involved with a riverboat business. I think the river was the Murray. I think the word river is in the title.
