Question In the 50s and 60s on tv in the new york area, there was a program called million dollar movie. They would show one movie everyday for a week. One of these movies was a british film that alister simms played a part. The movie was broken up into 3 stories. The one I can remember stared mr simms. The story opened in an art galary with two men looking at a picture of a home. As they panned in on the painting One man says you can almost feel like you can knock on that door. And he does. He enters the house where mr simms is living. The ending to this story is that mr simms is a taxidermeist and he is just about to skin this vistor to this painting. As they fad away from the painting your hear the visitor screaming. Do you know the name of this movie? I cannot find it anywhere? thank you.
Answer Willie, this sounds more like an episode of "The Twilight Zone" or "Night Gallery." I vaguely remember something like this, but can't remember if Alastair Sim was in it or not.
