AboutPopcorn Guy Expertise I`m pretty good in most every genre of movie, but horror and sci-fi are my best categories. I`m also pretty good on the old studio films of the 30`s - `50`s.

My sister and I are desperately trying to track down a film that we saw as kids and it scared the hell out of us. It is an old film, possible fifties or early sixties and the main characters were a woman called Sally and her husband.
Basically they move into an old house and the husband discovers an old furnace/boiler in the basement which is boarded up so he uncovers it - freeing some little goblins who had been imprisoned in there. They only come out when Sally is alone and chant her name rather creepily.
In the end, Sally is carried bodily down to the basement by the goblins and stuffed into the boiler.
Do you have any ideas what th is film is as we would love to see it again?
Answer Hi, Rebecca...
Question... someone sent me a very similar question the other day... was it you? You mention a lot more detail than the other one.. could it have been your sister???
At any rate, I'll tell you the same thing I told that other person.. I'm striking out at every turn with this film... it almost sounds like an episode from one of the anthology shows, like "One Step Beyond" or "The Outer Limits," but I'm not finding anything there, either...
If you could send me a follow-up with your e-mail address, I'll let you know when I find something....
