Hi, I've been going crazy trying to come up with the title of this movie.  All I remember is one scene from it, and it was probably from the late 90's.  The scene is near the beginning.  Somebody hands the main character a tape with demonic voices on it, and he goes home to play the tape, but can't hear anything (apparently because he himself is possessed).  He turns the volume way up, still nothing, but the lady next door to him ends up killing herself from the torture of the voices.  Any ideas?  :)

Hi, Chris...

I'm striking out so far with this hunt... I'm working on the assumption that we're talking about an audio tape... but all I'm hitting on is the "Evil Dead" movies, and those are not in your time frame, and there was no next-door neighbor... can you tell me anything else about this film? Actors, more of the plot, anything?
