Question I have a recollection of a WWII technicolor movie about a college student (Dan Dailey?) who befriended some Japanese students, just before the war. He then went over to Japan and broadcast propaganda for the Japanese. Eventually he became a pilot and while out on a raid showed his true loyalty to the US by bombing a Jap ship. Am I dreaming? Can you identify the movie and performers, please?
Answer This film doesn't sound familar to me, and I've seen a LOT of films from World War Two. So let me tell you how I searched.
First I checked Dan Dailey's filmography at IMDB.Com
www.imdb.com/name/nm0197314
I didn't see anything that resembled what you describe, but then I didn't look at EVERY film. You may find something there that I didn't find.
Since the plot has SOME similarities to _First Yank Into Tokyo_, I checked for "Recommendations" from that film. Sometimes people conclude that, if you like a certain film, you'll also like films with similar plots. I did the same for _Blood on the Sun_.
In neither case did I find anything like what you describe.
I thus regret that all I can recommend is to ask this same question at

You'll have to register with IMDB.Com to do so, but all they require is a nick and your real e-mail address. In seven years of posting on IMDB, I've never gotten spam related to film.
