AboutBrad Lang Expertise I can usually find the answers to most factual questions regarding stars and films from the 1970s and earlier, or tell you where to look. I'm not going to be able to help you with more recent films, and especially with made-for-TV movies from the 90s and later.

Question I saw this movie on the Disney channel in the 80's.
I remember a guy bidding on a horse and bidding really low bids because he doesn't have much money. Everyone is laughing at his bids. A southern gentlemen eventually buys the horse for the young man and takes him in. The civil war breaks out and the Southern gentleman joins the confederacy. He wants the young man to join the confederacy also, but the man says no and joins the Union army. The two eventually meet on the battlefield and the southern gentleman gets killed. I can't remember any more of this movie, but I would really like to know what it was called. It may have been a Walt Disney Presents special. I would appreciate your help.
Thanks,
Jack Fait
