Question
Can I upgrad simple Start (2007) to QB Pro2008? I have not been able to restore the file to the new edition.

Answer
Sure, you should not have a problem.

Rather than using a backup, just open the original file in the new edition and it should open fine.

There is a phone number for support at intuit that offers installation support. If you just purchased the new edition they should help you at no charge
