QuestionHi,
I bought a new laptop. When I connect to the bank it downloads every transaction since day one, so I have duplicates in my register. I cant seem to find anyone with my bank or intuit to help me. Can you?

Did it only do this once. Or everytime you connect it downloads the data all over again.

I dont have a fix. And I'm not sure it would work, But if you have a backup you can restore from before the problem. and then download the data into a new account register. And just delete that account.
It would work something like this:
Rename the old account. set up a new bank account with the old name and enable it for online banking, download every transaction, then delete the account. Rename the new account to "to be deleted bank account". Then change back the old account to the original name?
Print a report of the new data not in the original account and then delete the entire new account and all of the data?
I'm not sure it will work, but I'm thinking you need to trigger the online file into thinking that that it has downloaded all the transactions.
