Question Hi Vinette, My wife has just started quilting and we hit a problem with a 60 degree diamond.
Books tell us to add half inch to height measurement, to cover seam allowances. How do we calculate the fabric width as the height is measured across the points rather than the side length. The pattern, (Tumbling Blocks) calls for a 2 inch height.
I've used geometry and come up with a figure of approx. 2 1/8inch. Whats the easy method?
Quilting books are not exactly user friendly, or am I just thick!
Help please. vic.
