Quilting/Stencils

Question
Hello
What do I use to mark with, to transfer stencil designs to the quilting project on fabric?
Thank you B.

Answer
You want to use something which will wash out easily. White chalk can be good. Yellow prismaolor or other soft colored pencils are my most frequent choice. Straight lines may be marked with narrow masking tape. Wash-out pens can permanently stain and bleach fabrics when exposed to heat or when exposed to some soaps/washing agents.

Hope this helps.
