Question I have a Dell A940 printer and it or me does a lousy job of printing pictures. I am trying to use printed treasures fabric to make a memory quilt with poor qaulity picture. It may be my printer, Is there anywhere I can find info on printers that do a good job of printing pictures on fabric?
Answer If you will check back through my archives of previous questions/answers, you will find a lot of information on printing directly to fabric with the Epson Durabrite ink printers. I use it for all of my printing to fabric - and no special fabric treatment is needed except well-washed fabric.
Prints from printers other than Epsons with Durabrite inks are not inherently lightfast or water-resistant on fabric.
