Question
A friend and I are both having the same problem. When we're rotary cutting, we have to cut 2-3 times because the first time skips. We've changed blades and I even bought a new cutter but it didn't help.  Any idea what the problem is?

Thanks for your help

Answer
HI Kathy,
Sounds like an interesting problem.  I would first say dull blade, but you already addressed that possiblity.  You did not say how many layers you are trying to cut.  It may be that you are trying to cut more layers than the blade can handle.

Maybe the mat needs to be smoothed.
