Subject: enlarging quilt block

Question
The block is called X's and O's.This block is 6" and I need it to be 8". Here a the directions as stated in the pattern.
piece A is 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
piece B is 2"x 2"

Right sides together, align 1 B to upper right corner of an A. Sew corner to corner. Trim leaving a 1/4" seam allowance. Repeat for the lower left corner. Flip B's right side out and press both seam allowances in the same direction.

You would make 4 of these and sew together to form the shape of an X or an O.

Answer
HI Mary
Is there any way you can send me a sketch of what the blocks look like,  if so I will be better able to help.
vi

HI Again,
I have been thinking and my brain finally got in gear.
Make the A piece 4 1/2" x 4 1/2"
Make the B piece 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
