Question
Hello,

I am making my first non-tied quilt.  How do I transfer a quilting pattern onto my quilt? Is there some type of rotary tool that will make nice clean lines for me to follow when hand quilting? Or something else? Thank-you in advance!

Heather

Answer
HI Heather,
I use a pencil, one of the mechanical ones you put lead into.  It works great and you get a nice even fine line.  there is also things that have chalk in them with a wheel that make lines also.

Most of the quilting sites have various items for marking quilts for quilting.  Keepsake Quilting is a good one.
