Question
I had a terrible time trying to quilt with invisible thread. I tried to run it thru a bobbin to ease the tension but that didn't work. It would sew for maybe a few inches & then break. I tried to lower the upper tension  but not with much luck either. Any help would be appreciated.

Answer
HI Nancy
I have never liked using the invisible threads as if they break they seem to stick one like a pin.  But that was a while a go.  Guess the ones out now are soft.

Here are some information sites I found.

One said to lower the upper tension to 1

http://www.ritasquilts.com/invisble.htm

http://www.quiltersreview.com/article.asp?article=/review/product/030623_a.asp

http://www.quiltersreview.com/review/product/030623_a_table.asp

On the site of the last two I saw a link to an invisible thread users group.

hope this is of help.
